Shhh, Virtual Worship is Starting
Opening Prayer:
Holy God, in this season that commemorates the life and ministry of Jesus, remind us that his ministry is always and ever actively reaching out toward us. And in this hour of worship, help us to be open to the challenges of his words, the power of his healing, and the opportunity to labor alongside him as both Savior and friend. In his holy name.
Amen.

Prayers of the People:
Wise and wonderful Giver, for all your gifts we are grateful. Even when we
are distant from you and must make space and time for you, we are grateful
that you lead us to you unfailingly. The Magi worshiped you in a manger; we
worship you with the gifts of our bodies, minds and souls. For what else can
we give that is of worth to you? Provide us with a star for our own lives, so
that we are always pointed in your direction, finding the treasure of the Christ
child with each step we take. Grant us the wisdom to discern what is right
and true for your sake. And in all things, Source of Life, may we know your
love is constant and true as you give us the adventures of the Christian life
each day.
Amen!
Offering Song:
“Psalm 100 (Enter In)” – Josh Sheman, Charity Gayle and Steven Russo

Offering Prayer:
We bring our gifts with gratitude for the opportunity to give. We thank you, O Lord, for the bounty that is ours and for the freedom we have to worship as we choose. We are grateful for the endless choices that are ours to ponder and partake. We bring our gifts with hearts full of thanksgiving for all that is ours. We ask only that you would help us to remember.
Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER
We are called to be witnesses to God’s glory. God urges us, encourages us, pleads with us to take this call seriously — to live a life worthy of God. Jesus is our Model and Ideal, and also our Savior and Hope. When we fall short, it is the Spirit who supplies all our needs. Go from this place, committed to be witnesses to God, disciples of Christ and a community of the Spirit, through the power of the triune God. Amen.
We hope you enjoyed Virtual Sunday Worship.
