BOARD OF DEACONS:

Deacons are elected by the congregation and are ordained officers commissioned for specific services. The Ministry of Deacon, as set forth in Scriptures, is one of compassion, witness, and service, sharing the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, and those burdened by unjust policies or structures, or anyone in distress. The Board of Deacons provides care and services to the congregation and the community.  The Board is under the supervision and authority of the Session.  The activities and services performed are reported to the Session through the Ministry of Congregational Care and Fellowship.
