REMINDER: DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME – SPRING FORWARD
Shhh, Virtual Worship is Starting
Opening Prayer:
This house of worship is a place of healing for those who enter broken by life and in need of repair. This house of worship is a place of faith for those who come full of overpowering doubt. This house of worship is a place of prayer, offering stillness and words of faith when our own beliefs lack a voice. All you who gather here, come with gratitude. Enter into this sanctuary with thanksgiving and open your hearts to the possibility of a life restored and made new, for God’s love makes all things new. Thanks be to God! Let us lift our voices in praise! Amen.
Opening Praise:
“Total Praise”

Prayers of the People:
Most gracious God, we come to this place of prayer ever grateful that You offer us a safe refuge … if we would but remember. Remind us that it is our choice always to be restored … renewed … and recreated through the power of Christ, who is love made manifest. Grant us the wisdom and the courage to release the things that separate us from You … like our willingness to let second best be good enough or our readiness to be less than honest in our schoolwork and our business … or our tendency to treat others in a manner that is less than fair. Fill us instead with integrity and honesty in our dealings with others — and with ourselves. Grant us the grace to treat each person we meet as we would want to be treated. We know that to bear the cross is to bear witness to a commitment to a way of life. Grant us the grace to carry the cross proudly as a people restored … renewed … and recreated in the love of the one we follow to Jerusalem.
Jesus the Christ who taught us to say when we pray …. Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

GIVING
Offering Song:
“If We Ever Needed The Lord Before”
(Take 6)
Offering Prayer:
Generous God, as we travel this Lenten journey, allows us to walk beside Jesus as he makes his journey into Jerusalem. As we offer our gifts this morning, may it be our way of saying we won’t turn away from the problems and conflicts of this world; but like Jesus, we will walk toward them. All we take for the journey is the compassion, mercy, and sacrifice that he carried—moving toward what waited in the Holy City. We journey in Christ’s steps and pray in Christ’s holy name. Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER
Like an eagle lifting up her weary children, God will carry you.
Like a mother hen gathering her brood, Jesus Christ will shelter you.
“Like the murmur of the dove’s song,” the Holy Spirit will dwell with you.
Do not be afraid. Go forth in God’s peace.
Amen.
We hope you enjoyed Virtual Sunday Worship.
